Setup and Gameplay

To give you a quick overview of how to begin your adventure. Let’s get started!

Once upon a time,

in a vast, green world, there stood a great Limetree, bigger than any tree had ever been. It had grown straight through the mountain rocks, towering over the great plateau. Its roots touched all trees, bathed in all waters, while its leaves whistled in the wind. Because of this, all trees bore many fruit, all waters remained calm, and the skies were coloured with countless butterflies and birds.

Grateful for the gifts of the Limetree, the people built four altars in its honor and called them the Sun Gates. Each gate held a brightly colored mountain crystal, taken from the Tree’s birthplace. And so, when the sun set, trading the skies for the ocean, the last rays of light would pass through the gates, adorning the Great Limetree with all colours to ever be.

They named the land Limelightland and built their city, Lemi, in the tree’s casting light.

But one night, during the sunset prayers, the lights did not come. And the following morning, the Great Limetree, cloaked in the darkness of night’s shadows, did not wake. It slept through the next day, still shrouded in darkness as if it were deep into the night. And the next. And the next.

For all intents and purposes, the Great Limetree had fallen into an ever slumber.
